Hi! I’m Kelly Butler, the photographer behind The Lavender Lily Photography. Usually I’m the one hiding behind the camera, but I figured I should probably introduce myself. 😂

Photography has been part of my life since I was a kid. What started as a fun little hobby turned into something I’ve carried with me through different chapters of my life, across the country, and even around the world!

I’ve been lucky enough to live in several parts of the United States and overseas, which has only fueled my love for exploring new places, meeting people, and learning about different cultures, lifestyles, and history. I love getting to know the stories behind the people and places I’m photographing because I think those little details make all the difference.

My favorite thing about photography is capturing the feeling of a moment. The genuine laughter, the little quirks that make someone who they are, the everyday moments we don’t think twice about until we look back at them years later. Those are the pictures I love most!

I specialize in lifestyle and street photography, but I’ve also photographed events and plenty of furry family members along the way. I’m much more interested in capturing you being YOU than making everything look perfectly posed or polished. Don’t worry, I’ll help guide you when needed, but I promise we can have some fun with it, too!

At the end of the day, I want you to feel comfortable, enjoy the experience, and walk away with photos that actually feel like you. Because every picture has a story, and I’d love to help tell yours.
